Olympus Mirrorless Cameras V326150BW000 Editorial Review
The Olympus FL-LM3 Flash has garnered a generally positive reception from users, primarily praised for its compact design and lightweight build, allowing for easy portability. Many customers appreciate that it operates without the need for separate batteries, relying instead on power directly from the camera body. This feature eliminates the hassle of carrying backup batteries, making it convenient for on-the-go photography. Users highlight the flash's guide number of 9.1, mentioning its effectiveness for nearby shooting scenarios and its ability to produce satisfactory results even when bounced, although some caution that the light output may be limited for larger setups. The flash’s small size also permits it to comfortably fit into camera bags without being cumbersome. A notable selling point for the Olympus FL-LM3 is its compatibility with the OM Systems camera bodies, enabling users to set it up as a commander in a wireless RC flash system. This functionality allows for creative lighting setups, particularly when combined with other OM Systems flashes. However, some users have experienced durability issues, mentioning that multiple units have broken after short usage periods, which might affect the overall value perception. Overall, the Olympus FL-LM3 Flash is seen as a useful accessory for photographers who prioritize portability and ease of use, though potential buyers should be aware of occasional reliability issues. **
