The corrosion resistance of this extinguisher exceeds industry saltwater test standards by 12 times, ensuring its reliability in harsh marine environments. With a discharge time of 8-11 seconds and a range of 6-8 feet, this fire extinguisher provides ample time and coverage to effectively extinguish fires.
Its operating pressure of 100 PSI ensures a powerful and controlled discharge. The tank is filled with 2 lbs of sodium bicarbonate, a fire-fighting agent known for its effectiveness in combating Class A, Class B, and Class C fires. The Kidde 21028230 Fire Extinguisher PWC Mariner is built to withstand the rigors of marine use. Its stainless steel lever, painted aluminum cylinder, metal valve, and impact-resistant handle make it reliable and dependable in emergency situations.

Users appreciate the extinguisher's slim profile, which makes it easy to store in tight spaces while remaining readily accessible in emergencies. The robust build quality adds to its reliability, with a corrosion-resistant finish that promises durability in challenging marine environments. This extinguisher is notably versatile, effectively handling Class B (flammable liquids) and Class C (electrical) fires, which reassures boaters that they are prepared for various fire hazards.
