Epson Editorial Review
** Epson WorkForce DS-70000 Sheetfed Scanner** The Epson WorkForce DS-70000 Sheetfed Scanner has garnered enthusiastic reception among users, especially those in the music and archival sectors. Its ability to scan large documents up to 11.7 x 17 inches makes it an ideal tool for those needing to digitize music scores and other oversized materials. Users appreciate the scanner's reliability and speed, noting that it can handle heavy-duty tasks with ease and maintain high-quality output—reports show that one user scanned over 482,800 pages with minimal issues. Set up is reportedly a breeze, even for Mac users, with intuitive software that allows for quick installation and operation. The scanner's Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) is another highlight, facilitating smooth and precise paper feeds for both single and double-sided scans, which users found particularly helpful for varied paper types, including delicate manuscripts. Feedback indicates that the design is robust and well-crafted, Consistent with Epson's reputation for producing durable office equipment. Despite its slightly larger footprint, customers find the scanner's capabilities far outweigh any concerns about size. Many users recommend the DS-70000 not just for music archiving but also for general office needs, emphasizing its efficiency in transitioning to a paperless environment.
