It has all the rarely used commands and procedures that you might need in a "oh crap" scenario. Its information can almost always impart quick knowledge in disaster situations where time is a factor. It covers everything you need to know to understand in a few minutes how one system differs from another and, most important, how to use any with relative ease. It can even set up a couple of services, such as Apache & Co., DHCP or DNS, all with some previous experience with any variant and this book as a translator of sorts. The pocket guide, though compact and easier to read than man files, provides short descriptions of what each command does and is a great guide or refresher that literally fits in your pocket.
