B+W Polarizing Filters 1100755 Editorial Review
The B+W 82mm Basic Circular Polarizer MRC Glass Filter has elicited varied responses from customers, reflecting a mixture of positive experiences and significant concerns. Many users commend the polarizer for its effectiveness in reducing reflections and enhancing color saturation, with one reviewer noting that its polarizing ability surpasses that of other, more expensive models. The ease of handling, attributed to its extra grip, has also been highlighted as a practical feature that allows users to adjust the filter without risking finger smudges on the front lens. However, not all feedback is positive. Some customers have expressed disappointment over quality control issues, including scratches on the glass upon receipt and a loose front element that impacts the overall reliability of the product. Concerns were raised regarding the filter's light-blocking capability, with one user noting it doesn't block as much light as other brands, leading to a perception of diminished value given its price point. Additionally, the absence of any branding on the front element was a drawback for some customers who prefer more visible markings. Overall, while the filter has some redeeming qualities, including effective polarizing performance and good build quality, inConsistencies in manufacturing and quality assurance may deter potential buyers, particularly those looking for premium products at a premium price. **
