datavideo Video Converters Editorial Review
The Datavideo DAC-70 is a highly durable and well-made converter that can handle several video inputs and outputs. It can upscale SD-SDI to HD-SDI and cross-convert between different formats. The converter has easy-to-use pin settings and a scalable design. However, it lacks SMPTE Level B support for 1080p 59.94. Additionally, it does not have an HDCP manager, which makes it a poor fit for Mac users. Despite these limitations, it comes highly recommended, especially for professional applications.
