UJ Ramelson Co Wood Carving Tools Editorial Review
The UJ Ramelson Basic Woodcarving Tool Set is an average quality toolset for beginners in the field of woodcarving. The tools are reasonably sharp but not as sharp as one may expect from a higher quality set. One of the tools, the gouge, was ground crooked, which is a minor issue but can be corrected. The design of the gouge also falls short in comparison to the chisels. However, it is a versatile kit, and if a chisel is removed, it would be great to add another gouge that is wider than the current one and with a longer blade section. The grips of the tools are nice and straightforward to handle. The price point is average compared to other beginner kits in the market.
