Fantasy Editorial Review
** The Guild Volume 2** "The Guild Volume 2" is a delightful continuation for fans of Felicia Day's popular web series, capturing the essence of its humor and compelling character backstories. Lauded for being an essential read for "Guildees," this collection brings together various one-shot comics that delve deeper into the lives of the main characters, complementing the established storylines from the series. Readers appreciate the chance to explore how the characters’ gaming identities intertwine with their real lives, adding layers and context to their motivations. The artwork has received positive feedback, with many noting that it enhances the reading experience, helping to bring the narratives to life. The character-driven stories, especially those centered on Vork and Clara, resonate well, as they explore the dichotomy between the characters’ virtual lives and their personal struggles. However, there are some mixed feelings about the portrayal of other characters, such as Zaboo, whose storyline did not resonate as strongly with some readers due to its mini-game approach. Overall, "The Guild Volume 2" is both funny and reflective, making it a worthwhile pick for fans familiar with the show's lore. Non-fans may find it less impactful, as the nuances and in-jokes cater heavily to those who appreciate the show's narrative and characters. **
