Product Description
About This Item
Introducing Gorillaz - The Fall CD, the groundbreaking album that was entirely recorded on Apple's iPad. Created by Damon Albarn during the Gorillaz tour across America in 2010, this album is a unique blend of creativity and technology. The Fall carries the spirit of Albarn's previous solo excursion, Democrazy, which was also recorded in hotel rooms while touring. However, this album has a higher profile and can be freely streamed from the Gorillaz official site, offering a polished sound that showcases the potential of iPad apps for music production. With spectral hooks floating in and out of the haze and drum loops adding definition, The Fall takes listeners on a rolling and moody aural travelogue.
Each song is titled after a specific city, yet the music transcends geographical boundaries and reflects the essence of that particular point in time - the autumn Gorillaz spent touring the U.S. The Fall serves as an aural journal and a sonic sketchbook, utilizing a similar palette as Plastic Beach but with a muted and washed-out impressionistic quality reminiscent of The Good, the Bad & the Queen. While it offers fleeting pleasures like the scenery passing by outside a tour bus window, its ephemeral nature adds to its charm. Don't miss the opportunity to own this piece of musical history. Buy Gorillaz - The Fall CD today and immerse yourself in its unique and captivating sound.
Whether you're a fan of Gorillaz or a music enthusiast looking for something innovative, this album is a must-have addition to your collection.
